One of the most useful forms of pest control in one that is often overlooked. Garden cleanliness. The pest way to keep pests and disease from taking over your garden is take action when the problem first shows itself. Even many establish problems can be taken care of with a clean up approach.
H2O Plants should be sprayed with water frequently. A water spray will remove many garden pests and their eggs. It also removes dust improving the health of your plants which will help your plants fight off disease and pests.
Spray your plans early in the day so that they will have time to dry before nightfall. Use a gentle spray on delicate plants. Avoid spraying in bright sunlight as this may damage the leaves of some plants.
Remove dead fruit, leaves and branches. Allowing decay to remain on your plants encourages the development and spread of disease and pests. Also removing leaves and fruit when you find insects or their eggs present can be effective if the problem is small and localized.
